Last stop of the state visit to Germany took in the Pergamon Museum and the Neues Museum of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin – Mattarella delighted

Yesterday afternoon the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, visited the Pergamon Museum and the Neues Museum of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (National Museums in Berlin) with his daughter Laura Mattarella, the Secretary General of the Italian Presidency, Ugo Zampetti, and the Italian Ambassador, Armando Varricchio. The delegation was shown around by the Deputy Director of the Collection of Classical Antiquities, Martin Maischberger, and Friederike Seyfried, Director of the Ägyptisches Museum (Egyptian Museum) and the Papyrus Collection.
Sergio Mattarella was delighted by the exhibition: "That was something really special, thank you very much!"
