The symposium on 20 and 21 May 2025 at James-Simon-Galerie on Museum Island has two key purposes: bidding farewell to the outgoing President of Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz (SPK) Hermann Parzinger and welcoming his successor Marion Ackermann to the role.

Key SPK collaborative research projects will be presented in five panel discussions, exploring future topics that will require close cooperation with our counterparts. New and long-standing partners have confirmed their participation in the symposium.
